I love it. No one posts comments unless you're having a breakdown. Well, then.... this is a fanfic i'm starting on for Wolf's Rain. I dont usually write fanfics but Wolf's Rain is such an awesome show.
I keep seeing things. Most are horrible flashes of battles past, those I do not remember taking place in. Confusing words from pages of a book, and snarling creatures I am only slightly farmiliar with. My name is Ezekiel, and I believe this world is coming to an end.

"Stop worrying, Rin. They're extinct. They have been for years." Khal put his drink down softly, resting his arm on the table. Rin sighed and stared down at the glisten of the wine in the glass, the pleasant breeze playing a few random strands of blonde hair across her face.
"I know, I know. I just keep having this feeling... like something's wrong. And you know that this is the fiftieth year since the Extermination." She looked back up at him as she said this, her delicate eyes torn with axiety.
"You think too much." Replied Khal bluntly, then stood from his seat
He pulled his coat closer to him, then gave Rin a short bow accompanied by a warm smile. "Don't worry yourself so much. Okay? And have a good night." He finished as he turned to leave. She merely stared blankly at him as he walked out of sight in his dirty old coat. She should really get him another one, she thought to herself.
Suddenly the waiter laid something down on the table and left briskly, shaking Rin out of her thoughts. She looked down to see the tab of the meal. Oh, no. She'd forgotten all about that.
"Khal!" She yelled into the air, standing up and banging her fist on the table. "You forgot to pay!" She sat back down hopelessly, then reached for her purse. "You owe me some serious money, you pig."
Khal pulled kis keys out of his pocket and unlocked to door to his apartment, the jingling of the keys together hurting his ears. When he heard the lock click, he hastily pushed the door open and walked in, throwing the keys onto a nighttable.
Quickly he pulled off his coat and hung it on a hook on the door after he closed it. He sighed exhaustedly as he turned on a lamp and eyed his cheap little apartment over, seeing nothing out of the ordinary. He then threw off his boots and walked across his little den and into the bathroom.
"Nothing will happen, right? Not like before." Khal convinced himself, looking grimly into the bathroom mirror at his disheveled face and worry-worn eyes. He slowly unclasped the four-ringed gold bracelet around his wrist, setting it down on the sink. Turning the knob, he felt for warm water and cupped it in his hands, splashing it in his face. He looked at his face solemnly again, then wiped it dry with a towel. He returned the bracelet to his wrist and walked out of the bathroom, into his room.
"This is too much." He whispered to himself angrily, then threw himself upon his bed, hoping for just one night of real sleep.

I'd had another dream. This time one of those old-time creatures, a black wolf, was chained to the ground. He was so bitter... he wanted to die. And he had two different colored eyes... one was a blue human looking eye. The other didn't look human at all, but both of the eyes were the same color as mine. Then another black wolf, this one older, appeared in a white, snowy place.
He was fighting a white wolf. Blood covered both of them. Behind the white wolf was the most beautiful girl, seemingly unconcious. I wanted to wake her, but knew I couldn't. The poor white wolf was so beaten down, he had fallen to the black one. Finally the black wolf seemed happy, approaching a beautiful river.
"Paradise is mine!" He had cried. Then his wolfish smile faded. A cry of pain echoed through the air, and that was the end.
